However, residents of San Juan, including Rivera, have been grappling with water insecurity for months, while the island's old and deteriorating infrastructure continues to fail, and the government seems to take no effective action in this regard.
Residents are extremely dissatisfied with the indifference of officials and the investment in large projects for the wealthy.
